Queen's Day April 11th 2011

We raised over

THANK YOU TO ALL THE VOLUNTEERS AND DONORS WHO MADE THIS AN UNFORGETTABLE DAY !

                                

 

 

A fun packed day with:

  • Dutch carnival games for kids like stilt walking, pin the tail and nail dropping.

  • Traditional Dutch food for purchase like croquettes from De Brink Catering,

            krentebollen form Hillcrest Bakery and satay from Julia’s Indonesian Kitchen.

  • Dutch Music

 

  • Dutch Book Stand

 

  • A Raffle with great gift baskets from our donors.

  • A Silent auction with beautiful items from our donors
    and Dutch art painted by the members of the Hansje Brinker Guild.

  • Kids’ flea market. Kids can sell almost everything (unfortunately no food items) on the kids’ flea market. In the Netherlands they call it the “vrijmarkt”.  Just bring a blanket and everything you want to sell. Get seated in the “vrijmarkt” area and start selling!  A great way for your kids to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
