Queen's Day 2010

Saturday May 1st 2010 from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm 

at the Oranjeschool

West Mercer Elementary School

4141 81st Ave SE - Mercer Island

A fun packed day with:

• Traditional Dutch food for purchase like croquettes from De Brink Catering,

            syrup waffles and satay from Julia’s Indonesian Kitchen.

• Dutch music
• A Raffle with great gift baskets from our donors.

• A Silent auction with beautiful items from our donors

           and Dutch art painted by the members of the Hansje Brinker Guild.

• Kids’ flea market. Kids can sell almost everything (unfortunately no food items) on the kids’ flea market. In the Netherlands they call it the “vrijmarkt”.  Just bring a blanket and everything you want to sell. Get seated in the “vrijmarkt” area and start selling!  A great way for your kids to develop their entrepreneurial skills. 

Hopefully we will see you on the Queen’s Day Celebration on May 1^st.   Don’t forget to wear Orange !
