The Hansje Brinker Guild was founded for the sole purpose of making a difference in the health and well being of children. Because the guild has a Dutch background, it was named after the symbol of Hansje Brinker, the well known Dutch boy who made all the difference. The guild raises money for the Child Life department of Seattle Children's Hospital. Child Life helps hospitalized kids and their families coping with their situation in many different ways, turning the hospital experience into a positive one. The Hansje Brinker guild organizes two events each year, Queen's day and the Orange Bike Parade. Both events are fun and family-friendly

We are all very thankful to have such an excellent hospital in our neighborhood.
